The Legatus Magazine is a National magazine for Catholic Business Leaders.This cover feature article is about the faith base medical practice that Rose founded with her husband, Dr. Frank Averill. Rose continues to serve as the C.E.O (as she calls it, the Chief Everything Officer) of the business.

This article in Today's Christian Woman, a national magazine tells about footprints ministry a charity that Rose created to provide new shoes to homeless and needy children. It also tells the story of Rose and her family taking in a homeless woman. After this article ran, a half dozen people from around the country contacted Rose with a desire to start a similar ministry where they lived. What started as a "shoe store without a register" became a "franchise without a fee" from California to Appalachia people started similar shoe ministries, connected not financially or legally, but with spirit and call.
